top national songs of pakistanRight after the start of every August every year, we listen many national songs being played everywhere that fills our hearts with more patriotism and we literally want to do something epic for beloved Pakistan. Pakistan flows with our blood in our veins, it unites us, it beats with our hearts. It
has given us a lot and a lot needs to be done for it. National songs play a vital role in infusing love for a country in the hearts of children and the youth. They are the incentive and encouragement needed to express love and affection for one’s motherland in every way possible. National Anthem serves this purpose but there are some national songs that every Pakistani love up to the same level of National Anthem.
Some of them are:

Aey Watan Pyare Watan:

Sung by the legendary Late Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, this national song is so powerful full of feel and emotions. The brilliant composition has complimented the amazing lyrics wonderfully well. Ae Watan Pyare Watan still vibrates in the memories of not only aged people but it is also very popular among youth which clearly demonstrates how beautiful this song is. The feel with which Ustad Amanat Ali Khan Sahab has sung it, cannot be expressed in words. This song is our number one pick to listen this Independence Day.

Mera Paigham Pakistan:
Mera Paigham Pakistan (My message is Pakistan) is something exceptional from another great of our country Ustad Nusrat Fatheh Ali Khan Sahab. With a heart-touching composition and soulful lyrics, this National Song became instant hit in no time. The video of the song is a wonderful depiction of the true Pakistani culture and tradition. No one can question the caliber of the great Nusrat sahab and this national song can be a perfect proof why. This masterpiece of the true maestro is a must listen on August 14th.

Dil Dil Pakistan:

Dil Dil Pakistan, this song not only proved the lucky charm for the ace band Vital Signs but also shot them to fame in no time. Dil Dil Pakistan is a perfect national song which became the youth anthem due to its simple yet effective lyrics. Junaid Jamshed sung it with utter elegance plus the background music is also quite unique and complies perfectly with all the conditions of a national song. Be it be a cricket match or Azadi Celebrations, Dil Dil Pakistan is heard being played everywhere. Great song by a great band.

Maon Ki Dua:

If we write a book on the popular national songs of Pakistan, we cannot skip Maon Ki Dua by the supremely skillful Alamgir Sahab. Born in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) Alamgir sahab is considered as the pioneers of Urdu pop music. His powerful vocals and versatility is often compared with that of Ahmed Rushdi sahab. Maon Ki Dua pays tribute to all the mothers who sacrificed their precious lives for Independence and it is because of their wholehearted prayers and efforts that we are able to live and breath in a free environment. This song also delivers a strong message of brotherhood with the words Hum Pakistan Hain (We Are Pakistan). This national song is a perfect way to relive your childhood days. Bravo is the only word we can relate this song with.

Ae Jawan Ae Jawan:

Ae Jawan was a terrific national song of the 90s. Awaz Band comprising of two of the modern greats of the country Haroon and Faakhir created waves of thrill and excitement with this national song. The strong message that the song delivers can lit up fire of hope in anybody's heart. Manzil Hai Aasmaan (Sky is the Destiny) are not just lyrics in the song but they are also inspiring and motivating for the youth. The chord progression is also very amazing and one of its kind. This national song is one of my favorites.
Aao Wahan, Wahan Chalain:

Najam Shiraz is best known for his powerful performances full of enthusiasm and energy. Aao Wahan is in my view, his best performance. The beauty of Pakistan that he describes in this national song is heart touching and this song lands straight in to the hearts. This song is a perfect example for many young musicians who do not find suitable words to write a national song other than just using the word Jazba. Najam Sheraz won many hearts with this song. Ten outta ten for him for this beautiful anthem.
The list is huge and I think I might give you people some time to cherish these six national songs. Hope they would also add sweetness to your ears in the very same way they add to mine.
Happy Independence Day!
