Sara Haider Bags the Prestigious Charles Jehlinger Award

Sara Haider has yet again made the nation proud by graduating from the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts and bagging the Charles Jehlinger Award.

The news came as a surprise after her sister Erum Haider took to Twitter to share this achievement.

Congratulations to the immensely talented @sarhaider who graduated @TheAcademyNow today, delivered the commencement speech, got the prestigious Charles Jehlinger Award AND will be the first Pakistani at @JuilliardSchool’s MFA in Fall 2019 (w full scholarship). Since she made her mainstream debut in Coke Studio, she has won millions of hearts with her performances.

By winning this iconic award, Sara Haider has now joined artists like Robert Redford and Spencer Tracy who have previously won this award. She will also become the first Pakistani at Juilliard School’s MFA in fall with full scholarship.

Charles Jehlinger Award is presented to students and artists who exhibit professionalism to their craft. We wish her all the very best for all her future endeavors and hope to see her back in Pakistan doing what she does best i.e. making more fans with her mesmerizing voice.
