The shortest season of Coke Studio, Coke Studio 2020 also known as Coke Studio Season 13 is finally coming to a close today. The season was made short due to COVID-19 outbreak but credit must be given to the entire team of Coke Studio including Rohail Hyatt for taking the initiative and releasing 12 original songs. Regardless of how the season performed, one cannot take the credit from the team for giving us something to cherish or talk about for the rest of the year.
This season featured some new faces in the likes of Muhammad Aizaz Sohail, Mehdi Maloof, Zara Madni, Saher Gul Khan, Nawazish and more. Some seasoned musicians like Ali Pervaiz Mehdi, Ali Noor, Meesha Shafi, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Sanam Marvi were also featured in this season, while the king of Rap, Bohemia also made his highly anticipated return to Coke Studio.
The season finale is happening today. Sanam Marvi, Classical singer Mohammad Aizaz Sohail and King of Rap, Bohemia will be closing the season and ending it on a high. The new musicians may bid farewell to the season but will open many doors of new ventures for them, which we are anxiously looking forward to.
