Aima Baig Biography

Aima Baig is a Pakistani singer, model, and scriptwriter. She made her mainstream debut through a popular TV Show, Mazaaq Raat on Dunya News. Although she was on the show for just two years, Aima Baig did make a statement and received critical appreciation for her work. She rose to fame after her work on Lahore Se Aagey. However, she gained national and international popularity through her appearance in Coke Studio. She is now a regular in the biggest musical show of Pakistan.

Life & Career

Aima Baig was born on March 10, 1995. Baig was raised in Oman. Her father is an electrical engineer, and she has two sisters and two brothers with herself being fourth sibling. Her sister Komal Baig also serves as her manager. Her mother passed away in 2017 after fighting cancer for six years. After losing her mother, Aima Baig dedicated her life for cancer patients and is actively working with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre for charity.

Baig received her Bachelor of Film and Television from University of Lahore. Popular TV anchor Mubashir Lucman, with whom she sung a cover of "Summer Wine", is her uncle, and she has written the script for his next film as well. Aima Baig has recently announced her engagement with actor and model Shahbaz Shigri. Shahbaz Shigri had appeared in a cameo role in Parey Hut Love.
